I’ve been training with Katrina since I was 13 and I’m now 22! When I first arrived I could hardly sit to canter properly and had never been to a show but knew that it was something I aspired to do. Katrina took me under her wing and I can honestly say I wouldn’t be where I am today without her! I’m now a competing at Inter I and starting to learn the Inter II and Grand Prix movements, I’ve competed for GB at Young Rider Level, I’m starting to produce young horses and train them up the levels and I was also very lucky that Katrina spent some extra time with me to teach me how train my own horse from Novice level to inter I currently and also to help me set my goals. I would say Katrina is a one of kind coach, she’s confident giving but also pushes you out of your comfort zone when needed to help you make the improvements you want to make. She also has an unimaginable amount of knowledge and I’ve not only gained an amazing coach but also a friend/horsey mum/advisory for life. She’s always gone that extra mile and I couldn’t be more grateful for it! I’ve now been training with her for 9 years and I hope for many more training memories in future.
Katrina’s kindness & supportive approach combined with her extensive experience of producing horses to GP as a rider and trainer makes her an exceptional instructor. Katrina has helped me over the last 20 years develop from a Novice rider to just having just done my first GP and has always been positive and encouraging, helping me through plenty of challenges whether that meant keeping my horses in training when I broke my wrist, helping me to develop the horses way of going or tidying up my test riding. I couldn’t recommend Katrina highly enough.
"I met Katrina in 2005 when I started my then four-year old warmblood freshly imported from Germany and with little knowledge of dressage training. I feel so privileged to have trained with Katrina ever since and have not looked back. She has mentored and supported me on my dressage journey, enabling me to train and compete my own horses from youngsters to advanced medium. She has ingrained in me a solid, clear and sympathetic path to training dressage horses.
Always positive and encouraging, Katrina is sensitive to and respectful of both the rider's and the horse's needs. She installs in the rider self belief and confidence, which is pretty much half the battle! She is also an inspiring rider to watch and listen to, approachable and knowledgeable.
I couldn't recommend her highly enough to anyone whatever their goal, big or small."

"Katrina is an encouraging and enthusiastic teacher. I have had very positive lessons with my young pony. Her patient teaching meant I was able to do very well in my competitions as I was well prepared."
I am Daisy and I am 9 years old . I have been lucky enough to have Katrina teach me for the last year on my pony called Saffy. I really love my lessons with Katrina because she makes me ride my very best and teaches me how to get Saffy supple and bendy. Katrina is really fun and explains everything so I understand what I am trying to achieve. I always feel motivated after a lesson especially as Katrina gives me homework to do ready for my next lesson.
I have been training with Katrina since I was 6 years old and I am now 13. I started training with her when I was riding at prelim level and in 2020 I rode at my first International for GB at FEI pony level. Katrina has worked really hard on my elbows, hands and strengthening my core over the last year in particular. Katrina gets to the root of a problem and we work our way through it to solve the underlying issue. I always come away with clear aims and visions with what I need to work on. Katrina is fun, supportive and sympathetic to my ponies. I would recommend her to anyone at any level doing any discipline. You will always learn correctly and your horse will benefit from Katrina’s training.
